NEXCEL® brand ostomy bag barrier films address key needs of people with stomas.
Sealed Air has made a difference in the lives of people with stomas for more than 20 years. Our NEXCEL® brand ostomy bag barrier films are engineered to eliminate leakage, provide a high barrier to moisture and odor, and limit noise for maximum discretion. A PVDC layer is the most reliable barrier to contain oxygen and other gases from human waste, while the outer skin layer provides a quiet, ultra-soft, and hypoallergenic surface. Our ostomy film helps ostomates lead a full and active life.
- Used for the manufacture of ostomy and other stoma pouches or for wound care
- Film strength creates reliable seals to prevent leakers
- High-barrier resins minimize the passage of moisture and odor
- High-tensile strength is ideal for converting into bags
- Two film structures available
- Soft, hypoallergenic film for comfortable long-term skin contact
- 5-layer structure or 7-layer structure available
- Roll length: 750 meters except for MF 532 at 500 meters
- Film width slit to customer requirements
- White film available; Other film colors available on a custom basis
